![]() The scan only takes a second and the list you get will identify the device by type i.e., phone, desktop, tablet, the router, any access points, printers, etc., and it will also tell you what OS the device is running. ![]() Go to the Connectivity tab, and click the Scan for devices button under your network name. It is a good idea to address any problems you might find. Again, you don’t need administrative access to the router in order for these checks to complete. ![]() When Fing first installs, it runs a check on your network to make sure everything is running. ![]() It’s a free account and you have the option to use either Facebook or Google to sign up. You will have to sign in to the app and in order to do that, you have to create an account on the Fing website. Download Fing and install it on your desktop.
